Rhena 30 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 (edited) Hi, i have made a very small addon that filters out gold spam advertising. It should block about 99% of the currently used goldspam. I also plan to adjust this in the future if the goldspammers adjust their advertising. How it works: It ranks certain words and if a message passes the limit it will be dropped. Also be aware that i have to support every whisper addon manually. Currently supported are: The default chat window, WIM and FuBar_WhisperFu. Rhena 30 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 (edited) Well the releases have it and work outright after unpacking. The folder alwas has to have the same name as the *.toc file in it. One of the biggest problems with SpamThrottle is that it blocks a lot of legitimate messages, even from people on your friends list. Do you anticipate this addon having the same issue, and if so, is there a setting we can use to see what messages have been filtered?
