This is honestly the same arguments I remember getting from the people who held on to Kronos until it's dying breath. Great server IMO, but it's dead and honestly has been even before the refugee swarm. Sure, RIGHT NOW, things are dandy. Things were dandy when Kronos released too. We were peaking at 3k (nowhere near Nost of course, came out a month later which hurt). Over time it dwindled and Kronos lost players to Nost. It didn't happen overnight. this trend can be applied to what could potentially happen with ZK and Elysium. Sure the pop is great, but what about when faced with the choice between two IDENTICAL places to play and one is simply just better? People will pick Elysium, and then friends will follow, friends of friends, then ZK players will make the switch, and then the server is acting at a net loss because there aren't enough new players coming in to offset it. It's a gradual process. This type of "popular thing" trend can be applied to many things like what type of shoes people are wearing more or what university they go to.
