Can't connect to account on client

Recommended Posts

I just disconnect every time I try to log into the client, and I have no idea what to do.
(I have changed the content of the realm list)

do me a favor and message me a copy of you config.wtf file.  Use wordpad open the file and copy what's in there.  It's in the WTF folder.

There was some strange thing happening for awhile, where the server was sending back some odd data on this line:

SET accountName "account name".  No matter how many times you threw it away, it would write wrong data in there.

you're probably fine then in that regard.  If that lines not present, you can copy paste the whole thing right here so I can see it.

aside from that, here's some things you can do:

right click on wow.exe and set to operate as admnistrator

If wow is in program files, move it to a new location

No it's actually fine the way it is.  It has very little data because you're not getting online since the last time you threw it away.
