Not sure I created my account correctly

Hey folks

I went and created an account under the tab "Play Now" in order to download the client.
I received the confirmation email. So far so good.

I was, however, unable to get the download links to work. The first one said it was expired and the other threw a warning in my face.
So I saw this thread:

And I followed the link posted there and downloaded the game (even though it said Nostalgius).
I installed the game after download and got to the login screen.

Now I get "Connecting" -> "Disconnected from server" even after several tries.


To my surprise I also needed to create an account for these forums?
What is the difference on the two accounts?

And most importantly. Why can't I login? What did I do wrong

I realized after I had posted this thread that I forgot to change it.
But I have tried now and first of all I'm not sure if I should replace all of the text, though I believe it's only the last part, but it keeps reverting back to this:
SET realmList "login.nostalrius.org"

Same issue. I changed the wtf file before launching. Get only "Connecting.." to "Disconnected from Server" message. My file doesn't seem to revert, however.

I did launch the game before changing and tried to log in. But I thought I had done everything correctly until then :)

Heya, sorry to hear you are having problems.

The realmlist.wtf is supposed to be, "set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org"

If you are trying this and it still isn't working, you can download the realmlist.wtf file I uploaded here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3zLTUSkgCzXWUQzSi12enBWSjA

And just delete yours and replace it with that.

Oh my friggin god!
I have been editing the "Config.wtf" in the WTF folder this whole time.

I have now found the actually bloody file, replaced the text, launched the game, and connected instantly.
I cannot believe.... I think I just saw the WTF folder and remembered the .wtf from the file.
