Sundown 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2017 As a mage, I already crafted robe of the archmage. Is there a reason I shouldn't drop tailoring and get herbalism for example?

Gardash 11 Report post Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) As a mage, you need to keep tailoring for the 2% crit set bonus on Bloodvine, which requires you to be 300 tailoring. However, it is not 100% required. There are other ways to gear yourself, but they are all worse than full bloodvine with the set bonus, or require very hard to get gear. Here's an example of a mage who can get hit capped without Bloodvine: https://legacy-logs.com/Vanilla/Armory/Anathema/Mithrander/0 As you can see, he's got Flarecore Legs, Bracers of Arcane Accuracy, Cloak of Consumption, Neltharion's Tear, Ringo's Blizzard Boots. When you start raiding you won't have access to any of that. Edited January 24, 2017 by Gardash
