That number is showing up to exaxtly 0% besides you.  Nice photoshop though....  However clicking the link you get transported to the actual page which clearly states 2122 topics in this forum, as of this moment.

Even so, Elysium and these forums have been around a bit longer than the relaunch. 7k isn't that much, even if it wasn't just in your imagination.

Even if a tenth of those accounts were hacked it's concerning for me. But as others said before, it could be far more given we don't know the number of ban appeals 

There's quite a lot of people experiencing the same thing, and while I know this isn't Elysiums fault, it's still a concern.

Ban appeals =/= hacked accounts.. There is simply no correlation between the two. 

I agree it's a problem that needs and is being addressed, if one follow the Elysium news.

Why would a 10th - or even all - be concerning given the fact that 2 other major players in the private realm "bsns" leaked" and/or sold their player database,? Despite what you may think, people suck at creating passwords, making it easy to brute force if you have either one (acc or pw) . And tend to use the same over and over again.  The concern I have with this is that apparently there is a market for the goldsellers...and THAT needs much more attention IMO.

This isn't how security works... In what world do you live in that your form of security is changing your password daily to due the server you connect to gets hacked?

 

"hahaha noob didnt u see msg? i update my password every 4 hours, only real way to be secure!" The server was hacked and that was the original leak that staff warned about on Dec 28th. None of this "other server with same credentials" bullshit they have been telling people.
