I get immediately disconnected

Hello people of the world! :)

I get immediately disconnected when i try to logg in. I did change the content in realmlist to : set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org and i have been looking for the config.wtf file but cant find it anywhere?? What to do from here? Someone who can help me with this? I realy want to play vanilla!

Make sure you are operating as administrator.  Right click wow.exe and set to administrator.  Make sure you are launching from wow.exe and not any launcher if you have one.  If the wow folder is in program files, move it out of there.

Does your realmlist.wtf say: set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org  ?  if not, use notepad to write that in there.  If it already did, you can try using the IP address instead: set realmlist 164.132.233.125

I did try to copy my realmlist.wtf and rename it to Config.wtf and added this inside the file but it still dosnt work

what..no don't rename the files.  realmlist.wtf needs to be called realmlist.wtf.  config.wtf is called config.wtf.  Just throw away the whole WTF folder.  alls ya need is the realmlist.wtf with only this written inside of it:  set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org 

 

A new, clean WTF folder will be generated for you when you login.

 

By the way, you did create a game account...right?

Hm still makes trouble for me :( I changed the content to: set realmlist 164.132.233.125 and removed WoW from my program folder but still dosent work :/ Maybe it is time to reinstall

ah no i tryed to add a Config.wtf by copying the realmlist.wtf file and renaming that one. Saw something in the forum about a Config.wtf file so thought i might needed one of those..

you dont need anything in the entire WTF folder before you first sign on.  Or the WDB folder.  throw them both away.

Yep both of them where emty. I Threw it away and try to install it from step one.

Theres no reason to think you need to re-install right now.  Make sure your account got the verification email..and do those steps I wrote above.

Dang... I cant get the game to work for me... I get Dc'd a few seconds after i log in

For future reference, these two lines ; 

SET realmList "http://logon.elysium-project.org"
SET realmName "http://logon.elysium-project.org"

Should be these, respectively.

SET realmList "logon.elysium-project.org"

SET realmName "Elysium"

 

Both of these lines are found in your WTF folder. If you have not already, I would recommend downloading and joining our discord. Feel free to toss me a PM if you need any further assistance.
