Authenticator failed. Call customer support message.

Recommended Posts

So it seems our choice is use 2FA and never play again but wont get hacked OR don't use it and play BUT you'll more likely get hacked so many choices.

Tried both Google Authenticator and Duo Mobile same think you get 3 tries and then its call support not that we have any.

Hey guys. I had the same issue as you since yesterday. 2fa works a bit edgy anyway but yesterday it was even harder to get in, but finally it worked. You need some tries until you finally get logged into the game. Messages I recieved while trying were something like:

1) IP data does not match (big textwall) 2) IP Thing again 3) Connection lost 4) call customer Service 5) call customer Service ... and so on.. some tries later I was ingame. I Use IP-lock.

Following Thing helped me getting in: I clicked the key Generator until the next fresh value popped up and instantly logged in and hurried to put in the numbers.. still it threw me out. I repeated this some times with Patience. After 3-4  6pins i was succesfully logging into the game.

To me that behavior looked like as if there is an issue with synchonization between PIN and Account. The synchro gap can only be closed if you try often enough (and fast enough) to log until you find a Moment when both match. Only Patience helps here until they do something.. but you can still log in

I was able to finally get past the issue (was unable to log in to BOTH the Game and the Website).

It would appear the 2FA and Server are out of sync since this mornings Maintenance.

Go into the 2FA App, enter settings through the dots in the upper right corner.

Choose Time Correction for Codes.

Click Sync Now.

This worked for me, hopefully it works for others.

Hey!

Thank you so much! It worked after I clicked Sync Time in WinAuth!

Sentrosi, on the discord chat helped me with this. Now, everything is working with Duo mobile (game and control panel).

Set your phone to automatically sync time with the internet.

kk I found an authenticator that work with my blackberry from work (it's the only phone I have and the ipad app doesn't have a synch option), I mad e a new account and it seems to sync fine.

on a side note anyone know of a way to have the 2fa barcode re-sent to an account. while trying to troubleshoot the problem I deleted my account from the 2fa so now I can't get any pins for it and as I don't have the email anymore I can't re-add it to the authenticator either.

It is not possible to get the email resent.

However..

If you have an email compatible with Microsofts outlook, there is a way to recover emails, deleted from the "deleted" folder. I don't think you're able to get it resent, i had the same problem, where i lost my phone with the authenticator code, and i had permenently delete the email with the barcode.

What you wanna do, is to download the Microsoft Outlook application (you can't acces these permanently deleted mails on their website). Once the application is installed, click the section called "Folder" and there you can open "Recover Deleted Items" and there you can see all your emails, deletet from your "Deleted" folder, the last month.
