Can't register - no email

HI,

I'm trying to create a second account (for trading only) not trying to break any server rules. However I never recieve the email confirmation.  I've tried, gmail, hotmail and ntlworld accounts and nothing ever turns up.  I've also checked spam folders etc...  nothing.

Any ideas?

Have you tried adding the elyisum emails to your contact list? Or whitelisting

I can't, every time I try to login to the Control Panel to resend the email I get "Oops something went wrong :( - Too many requests".

Tried from work, and home on several accounts now and getting nowhere fast. :(

Hi there PeterGriffen,

First of all, tell Lois I said hi.

Secondly, we're experiencing some heavy load (giggity) on our web servers right now. Give it a try again in a few hours and let me know here in this post if it doesn't solve your problem. Also I would suggest using Gmail as many email providers do not allow our emails through within 24 hours.

I've got a friend who has had a similar issue. They've been trying for a couple of days now. They've used AOL and Gmail, tried the manual Resend option, and checked their spam filters. Still no email notification. :(

I've actually solved my issue, turns out it was partially my fault I think.

I never got an email when registering but then when trying to login to the control panel I was entering my email address instead of username. This seems to cause the "too many requests" issue.  When I correctly entered my username I was able to login and resend the confirmation email.  I got ths right away in my gmail account.
