I know this is not the right forum to do this, however I have made an appeal, changed my password and did the 2 factor authorization.

I was gone this past weekend for drill (United States army national guard) and I was in the field and was not able to get online. My account was infact hacked and according to a quick response on my appeal it was gold spamming. I'm hopeing if an admin/GM is currently reading this, they can look at my behavior on my account and see that up to this weekend I have done no suspicious activity which would result in a ban. I enjoy classic wow, I would like to be able to get back to playing online I have today off. I was in the field from Friday-Sunday afternoon. Please review my appeal so I can hop on

It sucks because I'm in an artillery unit so I was fireing rounds all day Saturday, got snowed in at the armory upon returning sunday, shoveled that shit out (E3 we get literally all the grunt work), drive home in a blizzard, eat and try to hop on to find out I received a perma-ban and since I arrived home I been trying to work this out with no luck.. sucks. I get this is probably no place for sob stories and I'm not looking for attention I just want to get back on my character

Yea no worries man, I understand the frustration for sure. Tampon pulling can be a pain in the ass too ahhahahah. Im just messing with you man. Best of luck on getting this resolved and again (PoG or not) thank you for your service and sacrifice.

I am going through the exact same thing.  Didn't log on for close to a week, found out I was banned. Upon posting on ban appeals I was banned for spamming gold services.  I can only blame myself since I used same account info on WoW-Rebirth and another private server.  In the post they asked me to change my PW and 2FA which I have since done.  Been almost a week now and no further communication other than they would investigate and let me know if my account would be reactivated.  My char was only lvl 26 which isn't so high but it just sucks to start all over again.  Hope your case gets resolved soon bro.

So Private, you've done your appeal, not much more you can do. I understand they do not permaban hacked people, so you should be able to get your account back, eventually. It just takes time.

Its PFC haha but alright.. if I had to wait a week to see if my ban is lifted I might as well start on another server. I was gone for a drill weekend, fireing rounds and I came home not able to play. Its very frustrating that my account got banned for an incident I truly was not apart of. But then again.. mistakes happen and I should have better security as I do now. My account was also hacked. But unfortunately it's impossible to change your password for whatever reason. So i'm just waiting patiently for all my characters to be naked and or deleted. You can push the reset password button all day ( i know i've tried) but it just says if you dont get it in an hour try again. It's cool i'm not actively trying to keep my account or anything.

Your under the same circumstances? I made my appeal and now its just about waiting... I'm not sure who can quickly look at it and look at my behavior in game until the time I left for drill and realize I have not done anything wrong or broke any of the Elysium servers rules. I was just infact hacked. I hope this doesn't take weeks to get resolved. I am slowly loseing faith day by day. I hope it gets resolved soon.

 

BTW I like your profile picture Is that an M4? If your currently serving and/or served what was or still is your MOS?

I'm a sergeant Psychological operations. Yes that's an M4. Caveat i'm not banned I just had gold stolen and my character was not where i logged him off. I just want to change my password before my account is stolen or something.

I see.. whom ever hacked your was not promoting any gold sites or targeting the online community to break rules and regulations in game of any kind? This is what happened to me... while I was at drill! it really sucks

ahh! well Its nice to see other military personnel in the community! Im nervous on how long this issue will take to be resolved and If it actually will be resolved. I know I might be beating a dead horse with me preaching and it putting it out there for all members to see but.. I really just want to play. Its such a good server, good community.. good maintenance. Everything someone would want while playing the classic, the core world of Warcraft how it was meant to be played. Do you know what I mean?
