How about the basic ability to change your password.

Ok i'm getting pretty angry now. I have tried to reset or change my password all day and have not once gotten an email. If I cant change my password it would be nice to be able to put an authenticator on my account. You know so it doesn't get hacked. Some real basic stuff here.

This is going to sound pretty silly but:

1. Have you checked your junk folder?

2. What kind of mail provider do you have? It is entirely possible that they a flagging it as spam and not letting it thru (google did this to elysium upton nost-relaunch).

Yes, i've been frantically checking my spam folder. I use gmail. Also it looks like this topic got posted a few times because of server lag.

Okay. I checked elysiums mailserver IP against various blacklists and it does come up in a few places. (probably) not enough to keep it from landing in a gmail inbox but I dont know for sure. I guess we'd have to get an official response from elysium admins if it is a known issue.

I appreciate the response. But i'm gonna be very infuriated if I log in tomorrow morning and find out my characters are deleted or something.

That's kind of a stretch considering the issue here is mails not arriving. As far as I know you cant change the mail-adress your elysium account is connected to (this to thwart account selling and hacking). Your account is probably fine, you just need the mails to arrive. Looking at the help forum you arent alone in not getting the emails it seems so probably a known issue. In closing I would like to point out that this is a free service, hosted and provided by the elysium staff as a hobby, free of charge and being mad at them is kind of displaced.

I just want to change my password. Step one missing gold. step two missing characters. I realize it's free never said it wasn't. But you can't expect people to dump a ton of time into something and not get upset when it is stolen or disappears.
