Munzi 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2017 Hi! So Holy healing specs at endgame have been discussed at lengths, but I was wondering about the times when you don't heal in a dungeon or raid: 1. Is there any middle of the way spec which allows for decent healing but also some questing on the side and maybe even W-PvP? I don't really want to pay 2 * 50G each time I go to a dungeon or raid 2. In general, how do you grind as holy at 60? Which of the spells do you use (MB, Smite, HF,S:P?) Thanks a lot! Munzi

HolyPriest 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2017 Run Scholomance for Dark Runes. Kill satyrs in Felwood for Demonic Runes. Kill water elementals in EPL for Living Essence (after you don't need it for your Hide of the Wild). Sell your Mooncloth CD if you're a tailor and don't need it yourself. Run Strat Live for orbs. Even when you don't need any gear, consider healing ST/BRD plus all the 60s dungeons. Vendor everything. With a geared 60 healer, the runs go faster. It's not amazing gold but it's money. When solo farming as a raid healer, I PWS myself, open with holy fire, put SWP on mob, cast mind blast, cast smite, wand. Get couple of stacks of water from a mage before you go. It's damn boring, which is why I prefer to just heal dungeons over and over if possible. Remember that quests completed at level 60 reward you with increased gold. Questing breaks the monotony of farming.
Healy 7 Report post Posted March 1, 2017 Yeah at 60 you can go 21/25/5 for a good holy dps farm spec that includes useful healing bonuses. Includes Spirit buff, casting time, crit, etc. Looks something like this: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#bVMusV0oZfxt0bbVZx This works well because Spiritual Guidance at the end of holy gives 25% of your spirit as spell damage/healing, and Spirit Tap in shadow doubles your spirit for 15 seconds after every kill. That converts to a nice damage boost for initiating your next mob. Try to time the last mob's death to maximize the damage boost, initiate with Holy Fire + SW:Pain then Smites, use Fear and/or Renew to help with tougher mobs, finish with wanding to get some spirit regen in, get ready to initiate next mob. Mind blast is good dps but not great damage per mana and doesn't scale well with spell power, use it at your discretion. Shield is mana inefficient, only use when you feel like you have surplus.
