Why is the PvE timeline longer than the 3 PvPs and retail?

You are doing a great job and it's great that you got BWL out on time but I can't see myself or anyone else clearing BWL for 9 months without quitting the game.

The number of people on the PvE server (especially on Horde side when you look at the ratio) is already dwindling and I'm afraid that if we have to wait even longer than the PvP servers and even longer than retail vanilla was for updates that it will burn out the remaining raiders somewhere in the next months and basically all the waiting will have been for nothing because there will be no one to raid with anymore once it comes out and frankly I also don't want to raid BWL for 9 (!!!) months. And then the AQ event only starts.

Retail, 1.6 BWL released in early July 2005, ZG September, Four Dragons October, and 1.9 released January 2006. So 6 months.

So it went BWL -> 2 months -> ZG -> 1 month -> 4 Dragons -> 3 months -> AQ40.

The PvP server got ZG 2 months after BWL release. The PvE server has to wait 3 months for a reason I don't see or get.
The PvP server got 4Dragons 2 months+1week after ZG release (don't know why the delay). The PvE server has to wait again 3 months.
And this can be 3 months and 4 weeks judging from the fact that we always get updates at the end of the month, so 1 month retail might turn into nearly 4 months suddenly.
I also looked up the timeline for the two new PvP servers and they have 2 months wait between updates as well and not 3 months.

So can the PvE server please get the timeline of the other 3 PvP servers or even retail?
That would mean ZG in March, 4 Dragons in April, AQ40 in July.
Is that in the budget? It's blizzlike like that after all! Also makes clearing AQ40 more exciting since you attend it with worse gear and I remember you liking it when endgame raiders have a challenge.

blizzlike =/= blizzard copy.

 

The PvE timeline is perfect as it is.

We had MC for 8 months too and it didnt hurt, since loot table did improve from patch to patch.

 

Ofc farming a raid multiple months can be boring to you, but you dont need to raid these 9 months.

Just go for r14 or farm gold or do whatever during that time.

 

Guilds wont force you to join raids.
