Fijay 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2017 Im having some problems with setting this up. And I really do not understand why seeing how easy this is. I recive the mail with the Barcode i need to scan, and the mobile scans it easly. And the code is listed for my account on Elysium Project, however each time i enter the 6 digit code to enable IP lock etc. I get "The six-digit code you provided did not work. Please provide the latest one from the application.". Found a couple of topics of people saying they had the same problem only to reply later "I fixed it nvm" so it does not help me much. Someone with some pointers here?
Fijay 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2017 Restarted phone, synced Google Auth, used also Duo Mobile, same problem. The code changes every 10/15sec and ive tried several. even with a hour or two intervals. I really dont see how this can be a user error. Anyone with any info around this?
Bocephus 1 Report post Posted February 21, 2017 Try this: Go to the main menu on the Google Authenticator app Tap More Settings. Tap Time correction for codes Tap Sync now It's a common problem that the app isn't synced correctly, so while the code is appearing on screen it's actually not valid. Let me know if that works or not.

However, you can still be banned and have your account closed if you don't follow server's TOS.

I decided to stick with the same code and try each 10 second for 5minutes incase the site was lagging behind but still no cake.

Also is this an Android or iOS device?

Hurricane2 2 Report post Posted February 21, 2017 (edited) I am having the same issue, android as well. I've synced the time, tried the counter code instead of times code, and restarted my phone and it still tells me I have the incorrect code every time. I'll try reinstalling the app but I doubt it will help. Edit: I also signed up for 2fa for my google acct and that works fine. Edit2: it seemed to work after a reinstall and time sync. Why something so simple to do takes over an hour is bizarre. Edited February 21, 2017 by Hurricane2
