We need to build a wall against DDOS

Can we get some more detailed information from the Devs as to the nature of this DDOS bullshit? its driving me nuts, i really dont have the time to sit at the login screen being disconnected (oh and its a REALLY shitty system to force me to enter my authenticator BEFORE my client attempts to login properly, entering a 6 digit code 200+ times and failing is pure torture) constantly.

Who is doing it? Please tell us, vigilante violence at this point is well deserved, even if its just the angry chinese gold farmers give us their site and we'll DDOS them back.

Which servers communities might be involved?

What else could be done to eliminate DDOS attacks ,what DDOS company or group is performing these attacks?

 

I just dont know enough, its really bothering me here.

What a useful response, im stunned a man as helpful and with soo much to say isnt already a Community Manager. Thanks for the advice, but that was already my default option, using a tunneling VPN for better ping however forces me to enter it every time.

You're the pleb on here complaining about DDoS that impacts everyone on Elysium. You have options for 2FA, you choose the option that requires an entry every time and you're complaining. Grow up child.

So you're going to do what exactly to thwart these attacks? Lay out your plan Batman. Why would a chinese gold farmer want to DDoS a server that they can farm gold on and then sell it? Deny customers service and prohibit them from farming gold on that server? Doesn't make sense if you take more than 45 seconds to think about it.

Take a few minutes and read some posts here, but if any communities were to be likely suspects it's obvious that it would be a competing community, Kronos is probably the biggest.
