SilentStorm 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2017 i know that the add-ons are in the correct folder, if I go into interface > add-ons I see a whole list of folders with add-ons. Yet I see no add-ons button on the character select screen. Ive tried moving around the interface folder, because the Elysium client seems to have already come with a bunch of them. I even tried replacing the interface folder with the vanilla one with all the add-ons in it hoping it would work, but it still isn't. What gives?

HudsonHawk 1 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 C:\World of Warcraft Classic\World of Warcraft 1.12\Interface\AddOns Is that where you have the addons installed? Also note if you get them from GitHub you must remove the "-master" from the folder name. On a side note, your wow directory seems messed up because its missing files in it. This is what it should look like.
Ullieth 1 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 Agreed, there are major problems with your WoW folder. How are you even launching WoW without WoW.exe of Launcher.exe? In any case, this problem (missing Addons button) can be caused if your WoW folder is located in C:\Program Files. Did you perhaps move it before you posted the screen shot?
SilentStorm 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 Well it seems that I have two WoW folders..im not sure how that happened. The folder that has all those files in them was in the 'Downloads' directory.
SilentStorm 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 I replaced that folder with the one I posted earlier. So this is what I see now. It still doesn't solve the issue of the add-ons though.
HudsonHawk 1 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 (edited) Ok so lets start fresh. Get rid of the folders Errors Interface Logs WDB WTF Now also get rid of Launcher.exe and Backgrounddownloader.exe. Once that is done edit your realmlist.wtf to look like the below image and save it. Now launch wow by using WoW.exe and the game client will recreate all the files/folders you will need and log into game with your account info. Once you have done that and quit the game and you can start installing addons. To install addons navigate to C:\World of Warcraft 1.12\Interface\AddOns . That is the directory you need to copy your downloaded addons into. (remember to remove the "-master" from any addons you get from GitHub. If you do not they will not work or show up in game.) Try that and report back. Good luck Edited March 9, 2017 by HudsonHawk
