Automatron 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2017 (edited) So as title says, not caring about pvp or leveling what's a good/fun build to have at lvl 60 for mob grinding? Atm I'm spec'ed arms with executioner's cleaver. Tried getting IBS from AV but I'm not seeing that happening so having Sul'thraze http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=9372 I plan going 2h fury. This is the recommended fury build from the fury bis thread: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#LbhxbIbZVVbVMxoVo Looking at the arms side: They have imp HS but from my experience while leveling I never used HS because by the time i had rage to use it MS was off cd (I assume it will be same scenario in fury with BT instead of MS) so I'm putting those 2 points in deflection. I also have imp charge while they don't. I'm planning on keeping it since those extra rage points come in very handy so that means leaving out 2H weapon specialization. So this is what I got so far (ofc getting flurry and bt): http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#LMGxbhbZVV0VMxo I can't decide if Blood Craze is worth it (3% regen seems too little tbh) or I should go with imp cleave. Not planning on pulling more than one mobs but without sweeping strikes it could come in handy. What do you think? Undertanker 88 Report post Posted March 19, 2017 17/34 http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#LMGhbhbZVVzNMxoio Get Blood Craze. If you are grinding as 2H Fury, you'll want to be using the /sit feature to purposely eat crits for more damage. Usually the amount healed by bloodcraze = the extra damage taken by purposely eating a crit, unless it's a higher level mob / elite. While grinding, your need for stance dancing is limited to Over-Power procs and the full 5/5 Tactical mastery isn't needed. (unlike Arms where 5/5 helps with SS + WW combo).
Automatron 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2017 I'm used to charge and switch immediately to berserk stance. With only 3/5 in tm I will be losing that extra rage from imp charge. How should I spend that rage before switching into berserk? Is rend a good option? Also I think I'll drop piercing howl and put that point in imp battle shout. I've used ph while leveling and it served me well but I learned to manage with hamstring (1/2 mobs) or fear (more) when I need to "retreat".
Undertanker 88 Report post Posted March 19, 2017 If you are grinding mobs that are doing to die before the rend expires, don't use it, use heroic strike then stance. Or cleave if 2 + mobs. You really don't have a range dump due to skipping out on BT/MS with your preferred build.
