Scaevola 1 Report post Posted March 19, 2017 I'm legitimately not sure if this is a bug or not, can anybody help me figure this out? In order to get certain quest items I need for the repeatable Cauldron quests in Western Plaguelands, I need a "Vitreous Focuser." As far as I can tell, I should be able to purchase one from Alchemist Arbington in Chillwind Camp. However, when I talk to him, he only sells Arcane Quickener. Brisies 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2017 I may be going off on a limb here, but I cant seem to find any information on this at the moment after looking around the databases. Anyone can correct me if I am wrong, but I think these were added into the game as part of the updated Argent Dawn patch 1.11 that redid Argent Dawn for NAXX rep. I could be mistaken which would very much make sense here. But, if you are able to get the quests and it is true that means that quest shouldnt be available right now... or if no... the item is missing entirely. Id put a bug tracker report on it to be safe, see if anyone else has found anything related to this issue and ask around as well. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I went to check, he doesn't have any dialogue options or anything. Just the link to open the shop. The quests are definitely in the game right now. I can click on the cauldrons to open up the quest dialogue. I just can't complete the quests because I don't have the items. I'll add a bug report. And they were 45 silver each! Have you done the cauldrons quest line? Also delete your WDB folder and check again if he has the option to receive one. I believe they should be in game since the first patch. I was able to do some of the repeatable cauldron quests on Elysium. Either way, running stratholme and scholomance is better and cheaper for reputation.
