howdy,

I'm a new player on Elysium, just rolled mage on alliance (Inori). Looking to get some info before I properly get stuck in. I did try logging in a few months back but it was so busy it killed all the fun.

How busy is it in the evenings and is there a lot of waiting to get in?

Basically I'm from the UK and looking for some form of casual/raiding. I have found that retail is waaaaaaay too boring and have raided since TBC. I have a good attitude to raiding and looking for something different. Can anyone recommend any decent active social raiding guilds that use DC/TS etc?

Anyway, I'm sure you get a lot of these posts so any advice is appreciated.

Thank you and see you in game.

Pete

On wednesdays/sundays you can usually find 1 or 2 MC pugs. Dungeons aren't populair on that day.
On other days you should be able to find a dungeon group within minutes. Now all you need is a tank and healer...
I've never seen the queue bigger then 1k ( ~5 minutes) in evenings. And that's only when the server happened to crash (once a week at most)

Pretty much any guild used DC.
Try <old driver take take me>. They always /smile at you.

Blizzard are releasing their new raid soon but it will probably be more of the same, good luck on Elysium Hackman!

Not really that interested when we seem to be killing stuff from expansions ago. Never experienced Vanilla personally. Enjoying it so far.

Vanilla.. And.. Casual raiding?

I'd recommend wotlk to you.

I am not 100% sure what the exact meaning of casual is. But I think he was refering to his online time not being as high as it is for others here.

You don't need to be a hardcore player to make progress, right?

Holy sheeeet,

Ok yeah I forget that Vanilla was still pretty grindy and intensive. I guess for me being casual is not overthinking everything to the Nth degree and having fun. I remember when Wow go to the point of being super srs and not about the fun.

and yes its possible to progress and be casual I think.

Yes my name is Pete, throw me in your megre pit mortal and I will turn it into a canyon..

eeerrr thanks for all your lovely replies.
