The old realmlist problem

Recommended Posts

Hallo folks of Elysium,

unfortunately, all attempts to set my realmlist failed. I pretty much tried all suggestions from deleting WTF-folder to adjust the config-file, to take care that 'read only' isn't marked and so on.

A few days ago I was still able to run WoW-Elysium on a German Client. But I was a bit annoyed by the mixed up languages, so I downloaded the English client from the website. But for some reason it never connected to the Elysium Server; even though the content of realmlist.wtf and config.wtf are 100% correct. So I thought, there's somehow a problem with my two clients - that's why I deleted the old German one... and now it still doesn't work and I don't have any client anymore to play with :P

Do you have any idea, why it can't find or accept the server? I am afraid, that the old client put something in the registry or so...

I really would be happy for any help and suggestions :)

Download the English client on a different computer, put the files on a thumb drive and use it on any computer you want.  I did this for my laptop because the download links didn't work but I already had a working client on my desktop.

Hey thank you, this sounds like a pretty reasonable solution.

I gonna try it, once I found my old thumb drive haha.
