unOriginalAntics 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2017 I updated my video drivers and went to open WoW and it said "New Hardware Detected Return to Default Settings". Now I've gotten this message in the past and have always hit yes but this time I hit no and the login screen started flickering like crazy and I couldn't do anything. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but when it came time to accept the terms and agreement I couldn't scroll down and then hit accept. It's almost the whole screen is frozen. Except when I click over the decline option and then it just closes the program. The button doesn't react to me hovering over it or clicking it but it does proceed to then close the application. Please help!!!!
PeterGryphon 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2017 Sounds like bad video drivers, what card/OS have you got? Uninstall them and download them again (from somewhere else if you can)
smokeit 26 Report post Posted April 7, 2017 Try pressing alt + enter, this puts the game in windowed mode, maybe it will resolve that way.
unOriginalAntics 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2017 I fixed it! I had my GPUs in crossfire and when I turned it off the issue immediately fixed itself. It's not a bad driver issue because I just fixed a bad driver so I could get my crossfire working again properly. So I think that there may need to be an update to accommodate crossfire and may SLI I'd have to check on my other computer about that one.
