Elysium live-stream thread

Recommended Posts

Hi,
I'd like to suggest an additional tab to your website "https://elysium-project.org/" containing live-streams linked to twitch.tv.
The tab could be located somewhere in the main-tab section on the left of your page, and display a red live symbol and the number of live streams.
Clicking the tab brings you to a sub-page with several active streamers broadcasting your privateserver.
Further; online streams would automatically be displayed the the top of the page and arranged according to viewer-count.

I'm aware that you already have a "live streams and videos" tab on your forum, but to be fair I don't think this is a very efficient way to advertise streams.
Furthermore, you could do something simmilar with videos, linking to youtube.

I believe this is a good way to advertise your project, by boosting viewer-counts and making streams and videos more accesible.
As a result this might bring a few new players to your project and increase the population.

This is a bad idea. The issue is that streaming Vanilla WoW on twitch is against the TOS for Twitch. I'd recommend searching google and examining the results.

They don't bother shutting you down before you get a high amount of viewers. Monkeynews' stream is a good example of how a privateserver stream can avoid getting shut down with 100-250 viewers on a regular basis.
