...if devs cant do anything about it, at least we deserve explanation why do these rollbacks happen

"So far just: MySQL failed and the core kept running, essentially meaning it wasn't saving the data to the database. It crashed, eventually, but not until a significant chunk of data had been 'lost'. Because the server is a computer with software connected to the internet and have no budget. You have to adjust your expectations to reality and be happy that we can log-in and play the game. Maybe tomorrow it's gone forever.
