izajon 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2017 (edited) Hello all. I really want to enjoy playing some classic vanilla WoW, but when I try to play I get a "stutter" in game. I tried everything suggested in the common issues thread but nothing is seeming to work. The only issue I had with the tips was with the refresh rate. I was able to change it for the integrated graphics card (btw, I play on a laptop right now) but when I go into the Nvidia tool I don't have any other options other than 3D. I'm not sure why, but apparently it doesn't see my screen as a screen. Other than that though, does anyone have anything else I could try? Thank you very much for any help you are all able to provide! Edit 1: And now, to add to the stutter problem, as soon as I login and start to see the environment, I get automatically DC'd. On any character on any realm. Edited May 24, 2017 by izajon Edit
dequecojonesvais 2 Report post Posted May 24, 2017 you need to set 64 hz in refresh rate, and download rivatunerstatistic server and set max fps at 64 You need to know how GPU wow uses, it can be Intel, or your second GPU (Nvidia) Ask google about how to switch between them. Then you can set that 64 Hz in NVIDIA control panel.
