An interface problem.

Hello.

This afternoon, while playing wow, my computer became very hot. Since I was worried, i turned it off quickly with the on/off button. When i came back on wow 5-10 mins later :

The game resolution was different.

The intro cinematic from when you first play the game was played.

My interface settings were gone !!!! I mean, my addons are still there, but the settings I had chosen for them are gone. So now, my screen is a big mess.

My bindings seem to be fine.

I tried to use another Interface folder, that i saved in case of a problem, and it doesn't make a difference.

Could somebody help me making things go back to where they were before ?

PS : I'm not that good at english so if you don't understand something, just tell me and i'll try to say it another way.

If you didn't make a backup of your wtf folder, where all settings are saved, you're out of luck. You will have to set it all up again.

So addons are in the addon folder, but the settings are in the WTF folder.

Because of me turning off the computer the wrong way ( i guess ? ), i lost what was inside the WTF folder.

Am i right ?

Pretty much. The wtf stuff don't usually get all screwed up. More like if the game crashes the settings you've changed in game that session won't be saved.
