Can't change contents of realmlist.wtf

Recommended Posts

If you can't double click, try right click>edit/preview. If that doesn't work, delete the realmslist file and open note pad to create a new one and save it as realmlist.wtf in you wow folder.

I thought of that but it didn't work. I tried right-clicking the folder of the directory which was WoW in and going properties/ security and changing the administrator rights to 'full control' on this machine. By the way, most of the solutions for this problem are the options of the .WTF file being 'read only'. De-checking that will solve the problem. Hope one of these two solutions help!

Ensure that your entire wow directory is set for read and write privileges. You can also try dragging your entire wow directory to your desktop.
