Alterac Valley Horde guide for dummies

Recommended Posts

1 – When you see a horde player telling you to turtle, just ignore the guy, he’s clueless. He has 0 (ZERO, NULA, NADA) knowledge about farming AV reputation / winning AV and you shouldn't ever listen to such players who are either trolls or idiots.

2- Ignore Balinda for now. Ignore Stonehearth Graveyard. If you stop, you will lose time and all alliance will respawn at Stormpike Graveyard and you just DON’T want that. You want them to continue spawning at Stoneheart so you won't meet them again and again, you basically for them to turtle this way cause they won't have a way out.

3- Ride all of you to Stonehearth Bunker, storm it with 10 players who will remain there for the duration of capture. Do the same with Icewing Bunker.

4 – After Stonehearth and Icewing are burning, these guys will kill Balinda, then ride and meet the rest of the raid who by now should AT LEAST be at Stormpike Graveyard/Dun Baldar Towers.

5 – Kill Vandar, win Alterac Valley, profit. If you lose, you lost because the alliance was faster than you, so work on your speed.

PS - Fail at any of the first 4 points and you will lose the game.

PS2 - Remember that losing fast a game will give you ALWAYS more rep/hour than winning extremely slow.

PS3 - Remember to ignore the shit outta everyone who will tell you to turtle, these guys are AGAINST your chances to win / farm reputation.

This video sums it up pretty well, go watch it.

Alliance will always win in a rush vs horde simply because horde has to run further.  This is not news to anyone.  I believe they still have to run further in legion.
