Old-Style Mounts Thirsts for Blood

Recommended Posts

I'm really having great sympathies about that *whee-whee* stuff in the "Half a year" celebration, and an "achievement" about who knows who, who does what no one watches and understands about, but in-advance positiveness does not clean a greatest looseness all players has confronted with on a last update on June, 28.

By the analogy of the new mounts being unseen by the vendors on any realm ever, you have made the same worst decisions in the timings for those old mounts to be available to players too!

As of now a great number of players hangs in pending regarding whether the SPOKEN and PROMISED grace *buy* period will be provided to them or not, and they are situated in an unresolvable confusion state caused by a loose community management! That poors hardly can realize that the reason of such staggered attitude circumstances is caused by a harsh rush of a bunch of "talkers" towards uptaking high standards of a high quality gaming service experience and a subsequent loose-like relying on the principle of absense of obligations of a free volunteer! That's the point! Not that you are really obliged to the now-here-soon-out individuals but that you've pretended to take a credit from them for your server's customer principles to correspond to an enterprise's like, and then just put an everyone's known ratio to evade critics on a suspectful decision and earlier careless behaviour!

Your decision about old-style mounts is the worst one too, because the time period of availability of them was SO LONG that now there are SO MANY of them that just AS A SHIT!
That's why one can easily understand the hardcore farmers' toxicity about facerolling mates, because their prolonged reputation efforts are already diminished by a present frequency of a one mount, and furtherly going to nivelate to the floor by potential allowing even more to emerge.
But the only thing those hardcore reputationists falsely believe is the lowering of occurrence of those stuff in perspective! How much of those mounts could a REAL power-player buy for that period another farmed rep?! And how much are purchased by GOLD-sellers for perspective power-leveling and sale as a good of a higher demand?!
FACE THE TRUTH!! and meet the old-schooled alts and new advertisments in your whisper chat!

And what a person, who dared to farm for a saber with his human, counting on a prolonged delay of the patch, and who failed, supposed to feel regarding described circumstances??? Especially when he not necessarily has a weekend on Wednesdays and missed a nasty tweet 16 live hours before the patch is done?!
Now a bunch of "talkers" produced not a minority of winners who will be respected but a minority of loosers who will fight theirs desperation! And an introduction of BoE items by Blizzard pursued the giving things to players not withdrwing them, and doing that in avoiding exact those reputation circumstances described!
And this manner is about treating community having some wishes and favours -- not about being Blizz-like or not-Blizz-like!

Now about real sources of the problem!

The mounts switch was supposed to take place in late April if to maintain its percantage in correlation with crowded guide-leveled 60-ies. And that was the first term of mine to orient on. But an update was planned on a later time, and not for allowing players to acquire the old-style mounts in large amounts but to allow the team to implement the most complex battleground of the AV most closer to a final state.
There was the only question standing. If those mounts were planned by the managers (or the team) to represent a somekind value in the long term perspective, why must it be connected with a great piece of work that is constantly prone to be postponed? Actually the manner in which the swap of those couples items was performed demonstrated it was initially planned "remainder task" because as I meant in the 1st row "the new mounts are being unseen by the vendors on any realm ever" till today!

Eventually we GOT THE ANSWER, by a simple comment to an issue report https://github.com/elysium-project/server/issues/1182 of the last commenter. The community managers stated about the grace period is about to happen for MANY TIMES and that it will be ON A PLANNED UPDATE. What may it mean?! Only one thing, that Alterac Valley battleground was discussed to be released not a single time and during that time no one really thought about what may happen with a termed availability items in conditions of presense of power-levelers and gold-sellers! The community managers continued to state the same known presumable information, and did that with quite carelessness and ignorance about the project managers may find to change the course of actions!

Now we have a situation about a whole-botch patch for EVERYONE to enjoy with a secondary task, implemented by a MINIMUM effort expenses, and all of that just because the community feedback has failed to compose the difficulty of the development task ahead with the factors that need to be treated in the soonest future and trivialise other ways.
It is YOUR time that actually HAS ELAPSED and now all can see that by that PATCH; but hardly realise because you are trying to remind people about their careless game-play but simultaneously sneaking out the fact that you have enough presious time behind yourselves the same moment! What A SHAME!

Now consider that the difficulties that your developers have faced in the urgent preparation of the patch have also compromised a common player from performing in-game task as it used to be? All the IRL problems that you could encounter you have soften for yourselves counting on the major bugs that are to be fixed in whatever time will come, but you turned it to players to face an in-game factor that will NEVER return and put a reason to it that "Everyone has enough time". And that time you STILL HAVE PROLONGED FOR YOURSELVES!

All the point I've left to state is that you have made THE VERY BAD ARRANGEMENT TIME about the recent patch! And besides that you has EVEN managed to fail in the particular day of the week it was deployed TOO!

Now as the time went and still goes on I see the same very little possibility to resolve the greatest MINUS very much players got and placed on this server (not occasion) for perspective, so the following is ALL what I have to propose:

The team members announce the dates of a grace buying period of the old mounts on Monday, the 3-rd of July 2017, and clearly state that the period is about ONLY BUYING the BoP mounts and that the availability of the item at vendors starts 00.01 Friday, the 7-th of July and ends NO LATE THAN 00.00 Sunday the 9-th of July, 2017. And that everyone must clearly realise that messing up with reputation once again is about to corrupt out one's own future TBC gaming experience! If you will decide it must be BoE, it would be GREATER and BETTER in fight against gold selling!
But the described proposed measures are surely REQUIRED because no one in the worst community must pay off some OCCASIONAL STUPID TONGUES EXPRESSED SOME IGNORANT BEHAVIOUR! Period!

I would like to be able to suggest returning old mounts AS USUAL ONES and move the armoured items to the rewards from cleaning out the bosses' PvE content! Just like the black armoured ones reward PvP-ers! But I'm sadly estimating, you guys are not about being able to do that! Blizzard spotted mounts be so *wanny* incentive not so soon too, so feel free to adopt this initiative!

For those who has the interest, I've met ALL the in-game pre-requistes for buying the exact those types and amounts of mounts for myself that I wanted TWO WEEKS before the update day! And other reasons are just the ones you are NOT about to know except that they all relate to the game.
