Account missing

Hello!
I have played wow for a couple of months now. A week ago I had some problems with my PC so I had to reinstall the game. Well, when I tried to log in again, the game did not accept my account name. So I decided to cerate a new account with the same name to see if my original account was still working... well, this new account was created, and none of my characters were there! 

my problem: Is there a way in getting my previous characters back? 

would love to have an official answer here.

We never delete accounts or characters.

Make sure you are actually login into the correct ingame account, and not using the same credentials as your forum account.

Both are different from each other and only used for the purpose you have created them for.

 

You can try to request a password change here: https://elysium-project.org/password

and see if you can figure out what the reason is.

I created the forum account the same day I created this topic, so I'm not confusing the forum account with the game account.

I only stayed a few days without playing and then I decide to enter the game and says that my account was invalid, so I decided to test creating an account with the same email and user and created normally as if it did not exist, but there are still the names of the characters of the previous account.

I tried to recover the password, but said that my user or email was invalid. =(
