Beefycake 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2017 Hello, good people of Anathema! About 4 months ago I finished leveling my Druid on this server and have then taken a break from Vanilla as I am also very active in retail WoW. I've decided now that I want to make a return to Vanilla and experience some of the Raids I never got to do when I was 14 and started playing WoW back in 2005. The big problems for me however, is that my understanding of Vanilla endgame is very poor and I have much to learn in terms of gearing up to pre-Raid BiS, which Reps to grind and what I should generally be aiming to do. I realise that there are countless guides exploring those subjects and I am not shy about searching for and reading those, it's just that I would much rather learn and play with others in a Guild environment so that I could shine since I have plenty of WoW Raiding experience and a very good grasp on the game. So basically this is me asking if there are any active Guilds recruiting a fresh 60 with a lot of potential, a good attitude and willingness to learn. (Alliance and EU btw) Thanks to everyone who read this :)

For example (Alliance, EU): http://flashbackwow.shivtr.com/ Only need to farm some pre-raid BiS items, consumables and some gold to spare - then you should be able to set your foot in most raids. There isn't really any need to farm any reputation in vanilla. And healers/tanks usually has an easier time getting into dungeon groups as per the farming.
Beefycake 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2017 I appreciate your response but I don't really see any Dungeon groups forming in World, General and Trade so I'm just wondering how can one who is without a Guild consistently find people to run dungeons with?
Careless 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2017 Yes, it's true it's a bit on the low side (also depending on when you play). What I'd recommend is to actually start/form/LFM the group yourself while you are farming/mining/herbing at the same time. This is how I've successfully managed to get my loot. Most high-end guilds are already decked out and don't run dungeons much anymore. So having or not having a guild isn't very important in this aspect, as you can just do it with "randoms"... and if you find some people you like (whom perform well, are helpful or whatever) along the way, just add them and whisper whenever.
