nualkrisaarx 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2017 I notice new char zones are full, always more than 50 people within +/-2 levels of me on /who. If we assume?? 20% will have mining and maybe one of the dependent professions (eng. or bs), and given my own experience finding nodes (mining currently in high 20s now at level 12, and I try !), it seems unlikely that mining node spawn rate even comes close to implied demand from new characters just to level their professions around parity with character level. it has pretty direct carry-on effects - prevents leveling the related crafting profession as well, which then impacts some gear options for some classes. it certainly seems probable that if I do not stop trying to level the character up and instead take corrective action (e.g. spend potentially a lot of time searching for ore in the mines in elewyn, or other plan B), I will quickly get into a 20-29ish zone where I can NOT mine anything due to low mining level. Does this persist in higher-level zones? Is it an issue with herbalism too?

If you're going to pick gathering professions, pick ones that will be useful at serving your needs ... even if that usefulness is limited to vendoring everything you get.
