Guest Report post Posted August 8, 2017 Allowing multiboxing in general is a "bad optics" policy for any server administration. Endorsing the behavior of multiple trains of parties or clustered groups of mages brings a negative stigma to the server environment in general. Any argument for "Blizzlike" gets tossed out the Window when you realize that accounts back then cost $15 a month while Elysium accounts are free to create. There is no cost prohibition to multiboxing on Elysium vs. retail, so how is that argument even relevant? Additionally, if you actually look at the policies in the Terms of Use a lot of them are generic boilerplate policies that overlap in scenarios so that there is little wiggle room for someone to argue they were following the letter of the Terms while acting in a questionable manner. Allowance of multiboxing is a net negative to the server environment for the community, both internal and external appearances, economy, and server resources. You will never stop behavior that the player base sees as malicious (like RMT) but having these protections in place definitely helps deter or slow it down if not give stronger reason for investigating behavior that may lead to sanction.

We can discern between a multiboxer and a couple playing in the same household. If you got warned for multiboxing, then you were playing both characters alone. Kindly stop lying. 9 hours ago, Bebo said: all the other arguments against Multiple Account Usage is a blatant senseless blabbering with nothing that can uphold it. Unfortunately for your self-esteem, you are completely wrong in all of your claims. We have very good reasons to prohibit multiboxing - one player playing multiple characters regardless of the method - and this rule is very unlikely to change. To OP, you can teach your daughter to play with single-player games first, so that she understands the basic principles prevalent in RPGs. Once she knows that stuff, you can bring her her. Though if I were you, I'd hide all of the chat channels on her client, including /say and /yell.
