Invalid credentials when logging in through the Control Panel

I've successfully created an account through the "Play Now" page, however I am unable to login through the control panel.  I receive the "Invalid Credentials" error.  I've tried resetting my password, but still receive the error.  I'm uncertain of what I could be doing wrong.

 

Edit:  I finally was able to reset my password and have it work.  This time it actually said my password was reset, whereas previously it would clear the form but not give a success or error message.
