JeffMcFancy 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2017 I was playing on this project last night for about 5 hours, and i get a message from my Cox Internet Provider saying they got a message from blizzard saying that I Illegally downloaded a version of their game. They sent me my download info as proof and told me I have one business day to resolve the issue by deleting the game and not illegally downloading again. Does this happen often?
Guest Report post Posted September 7, 2017 You probably left your torrent running or used a known magnet link that's tracked by copyright watchdogs. You weren't flagged for playing, you were flagged for the download. Most ISPs send the notices out of obligation to the copyright holder. It has nothing to do with the Elysium Project or private servers in general.

They were more than likely sniffing the Torrent... I got a similar notice years ago about a Saturday Night Live episode. While there is no way for them to know if you've deleted the game or not, you might want to setup a VPN for when you're playing.
