lerkingpoo 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2017 I was aoe grinding in Arathi for a while then another mage came with a level 60 mage and started polymorhping all the mobs I was aoe pulling to reset their health. He did this several times, obviously trying to shoo me off, which of course it did seeing as another player was making it literally impossible for me to kill the mobs since as soon as I'd attack it, he'd poly so it'd gain all of its health back. If you had been on a quest and he repeatedly polymorphed the quest target for a period of time so that you cant complete the quest then yes, that would be greifing. But you are just AOE farming and he is not stopping you from completing anything important. lerkingpoo 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2017 So had I been completing the quest which requires you to kill the 3 named npcs in that same place it would be griefing and against ToS but because they're not quest mobs its just "not important?" I can understand the priority of quest mobs but seeing as they're on the exact same respawn rotation and had I been pulling them in my aoe pulls (I wasn't because I want to l leave the quest mob for people who still have yet to complete it) I'm positive he would have PMed them as well, I very much disagree with the assessment of the "griefing." Given other things people do that are against ToS which have zero affect on other players, I don't understand how this isn't against ToS. Nevertheless, if that's Elysium's ToS, that's ToS. Shomiehawn 1 Report post Posted September 29, 2017 The main reason this isn't greifing is because he isn't stopping you from actually questing or even leveling. AOE grinding is your personal choice and one excluded to your class. He's stopping you from doing something you WANT to do, not something you NEED to do.
