Waiting for launch

I'm not here to bitch and complain about this or that, I'm merely asking for a little bit more communication from the team that is trying to make this happen.
I do understand this process takes time and patience from both the community and the Elysium team as a whole, but looking at the home page and a few other places it seems like the entire process is kind of dragging.

This was posted on the Elysium-Project.org home page on the 14th of this month. Around the 72 hours ago.

Now, again, I know this isn't something that just happens overnight and requires dedication, stress, and I'm sure a certain level of frustration. I'm simply asking for an update from the team on this, since I (and I'm sure many others) have/are sitting around waiting for this new server to launch. Playing on the new server is fun and all, but I have other toons I'd like to get a hold of and level/gear them up.

What worries me though, is I've seen another post stating a 24-72 hour wait period for this server to launch at an even earlier date. This post is from the 9th of this month from a Community Manager.

For the final time, I know this takes time. All I'm really asking for though, is a bit of communication. Even if shit has hit the fan and for some reason it's just not working out... I'd like to know.

I'm not going to lay down some ultimatum, saying I'm going to leave on go to LH or Warmane or whatever the other servers are. I'm a patient person, but also anxious to get back into the game. Hell, I've been consistently checking the Elysium home page, forums, and even logging in to see if the server has popped up on the realm list. But, if you know it won't be happening for another 5 days, week, 2 weeks, a month... I'd just like to be in the loop on that information and I'm sure a lot of others would appreciate it as well and be more willing to wait.

P.S. Shit like this isn't what we need. Be sincere, kind, and patient. Otherwise this community will end up just as shitty as retail.

How was my statement (which you quoted at the bottom) in any way not sincere or kind? Like you, I was asking for an update. It's been almost 2 weeks since the servers were brought down and the merge was promised, and hardly any communication has occurred since then.

It's taken so long that many have moved on to Light's Hope where their characters were copied to - that's just a basic fact.

Not here to argue, but I'll give you a reply.
You may not have come across as a douche, as most people do when talking about this topic, but telling them that this is causing you to switch to a competitor's server along with others who have already done so isn't a way of giving feedback and it sure isn't going to help them work at a faster rate. In my opinion its a shitty way of trying to get the information you want.
I quoted you because, like you said, you're asking for an update. So, it makes it related to this topic.

I didn't add your name or try to have you blacklisted in any way, (and by no means do I think you're a bad person) I just don't agree with the method you've used.

I'm sorry if you are upset or offended, but I stand by what I said.

really hope they come back online soon. my hubby and I are casual players so were not sweating it too much but we do have some toons we've spent alot of time leveling and would love to play together again with them, fingers crossed we see something soon.
