Keybinds magically disappear after relogg/dc

Recommended Posts

Hello Elysium,

I previously have written a Ticket about my issue, the GM could only tell me to delete my WDB Folder, and it seems like they offer the same solution to any problem you have over again even if for instance your house is on fire lol. Thank you but the WDB Folder seems to be uninvolved with this issue :P So I thought I would try here for help, maybe someone is smart enough to figure out my problem.

Every time I log out, close the game, restart or if I dc all my keybinds wipe. Its been like this for 3-4 days now and its just plain annyoing. The only bar addon I use is bartender, other addons should not mess with keybinds e.g. questie. I have tried multiple fixes and made sure that the whole wow folder is not on 'read only' and starting the game as an administrator. I have read many posts and googled a lot but not have had any luck finding a solution. Im running wow on 64 bit win10.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

*edit* I further found out that the Permissions of the File are bugged (It just stays on read only). I tried taking ownership of the file or recopy it but didnt have any success.

Make sure the game isn't in Program Files. If your settings don't save it's all but certainly a permissions issue. The game dumps all settings to your WTF folder upon a clean logout. If you DC, settings can be lost. The WoW version of save early, and save often is logging out after each important UI change you make so that it's stored properly.

The game is not in program files its under documents. It even disappears when I logg out properly.
