Cant Restore Account

Hi, Im having Issues restoring my two characters. I can log into my account on the game, but it wont restore my account from the website. I also had an account on this website, but I couldn't log into that either. I had to make a new account to make this post. Lol. Im so confused

A couple of points may clarify things:

1. Restored toons aren't available for immediate play. They're stored to an offline realm for use when TBC drops in a year's time.
2. Your game account and forum account are different, so you would need a new account to login here.

Well, I was able to log into the game and MAKE a new character on NH. When I first logged in, it showed that I had 3 characters to select. but when I get to the server screen, its blank and I have 0 characters. So I can still log in under the account, but I cant restore my other characters.

That's correct. Nighthaven is a fresh realm, so there's no restores to it. The number of characters on the realm select screen was inaccurate.

So how can I restore my old characters from the realm that isnt there anymore? Thats what I am having Issues with. I lost all my characters

You cannot play restored characters right now. Only the fresh realm is running, so you'll need to roll new toons there to play.

So how long do I need to wait to be able to play my old toons? My friend was able to find his old toons from the restore link, and he hasn't played longer than me. However, when I try it, it gives me errors and can't even find my old toons.

The old toons will not be available until Stratholme is brought online again, and at this point there is no plan to do that before TBC drops in a year. No old characters have been transferred to Nighthaven - everyone rolled fresh there.
