Can log in username and password in site but cannot login in game

Hello I am having some trouble that I have been having for a long time now. I used my email address and typed in the password to sign in on the site and it worked. It shows my username in the top right hand corner so I typed that in in game and the password and wont let me sign in? I'm wondering if perhaps my username is different ingame and if so can I have help from a dev to retrieve that username? Thanks
