Arcane Missiles Spec

just wanted to know if there is a vaible Spec where you mostly use Arcane Missiles and maybe some Frost for survivability.

I know some people messed around with a heavy arcane -> frost spec (31/0/20) where in essentially you frostbolt until you get a a clearcasting proc with Arcane Concentration and then use arcane missiles but it was nowhere near the damage of frost in Onyxia/MC/BWL and no where near the damage of fire in AQ/Naxx.

I have never seen people use a heavy arcane missile / spam spec because the mana cost is too great. You would have to pick up wand specialization for sure because you would spend a ton of time sitting around wanding.

So top level raiding viable? No.

For fun in your guild if they allow it? Sure go have fun.

Hmm so kinda no to raiding but what about pvp ? I know some ppl play arcane/frost but mostly use frostspells for dmg like a Instant Frostbolt when enemy is frozen.

But all that is already well know and kinda boring.

There was a grand marshal mage on one of the vanilla servers I played on that was full arcane/fire and spammed arcane missiles as a glass cannon just to try and blow up 1 person. You don't live as long but you can pretty much blow all cooldowns and kill whomever you wish.
