Rek 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2018 Hey fellows, Just coming to you with a fresh website I created. I took approximately one month to do it, and all that time spent to lead on this final moment, it's really exciting. My goal was to create something with just my little hands, to improve myself at coding and bring something useful for the Hunters community. Honestly, it was very fun to do, and I will complete the website when my time will allow me to do so. So, just a few things before : I'm obviously not the best Hunter here and my Vanilla experience is still low, but Hunter is my favorite class and I played it across almost every extension. This guide has one objective : help beginners to understand how Hunters works ! I get some information from other tutorials, I put links in the credit part. It would be cool if you guys bring me your opinion and told me if some points are wrong or bad explained. Every criticism is welcome. RQ 1 : it seems on Chrome mobile the design sucks (at least for my phone) but for other people it seems good (?) RQ 2 : The PvP section is only detailed for BM, as I leveling with this spec atm. RQ 3 : be nice plz http://vanillahunter.org/ Good game & enjoy !
Lelele 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2018 (edited) Took a quick look, it seems ok for really new hunters, but as someone who has played for a long time I kind of laughed at the information. Keep in mind, soloing with a hunter is much different than raiding, and both of those things are much different than pvp. Macros are a big part of hunter mastery, and having good keybinds for everything. I would also like to note that, with some finesse, having a good melee weapon to swap to (with help of a macro) is very valuable. Most of the time your melee weapons are just stat sticks, but when you get up close and personal you can quickly swap to a big, slow 2h weapon and do a lot of damage with a raptor strike! Works well in soloing and PvP when you are not always at range. For raiding, you should never be meleeing really. Subrias 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2018 While some macros are definitely helpful, some like target nearest enemy combined with attack will cause issues in a group. I have played hunter since day 1 of open vanilla and I subconsciously use ctrl 1 (default pet attack) even on live when I don' have a pet.. lol. It also took me a good while to stop trying to cast hunters mark when they changed that. Anyway that said, some macros are good, such as the weapon swap one mentioned above. It all really comes down to how you want to play and what works for you.
