Shenna 1135 Report post Posted March 27, 2018 Dear lovely players, this Easter weekend (March 31 – April 2) we encourage you to take a break from farming gold and Farm the Eggs instead! Egg farming won't be easy—eggs will be in the most dangerous and popular PvP locations, and your death will result in the loss of any eggs you've collected. Why should you bother farming at all, you ask? During the event egg collecting NPCs will be in the capital cities, waiting to exchange your eggs for rewards. Note that not all eggs will be exchangeable. Some may have magical effects, and others are just plain rotten. Players should also note that the Easter Bunny has already registered his displeasure with players collecting his carefully hidden eggs. Druids throughout Azeroth have been hearing whispers amongst the animals of plans for Bunny Invasions into cities over the weekend. If faction battles didn't make your egg farming difficult enough already, you may be required to battle rabbits to get to the Egg Collectors, too.
Shenna 1135 Report post Posted March 30, 2018 Easter Event Update It's Easter Weekend, the Elysium Project is running a themed event from March 31 to April 2. Farm the Eggs The druids of Azeroth have summoned forth Easter Rabbits to hide eggs throughout the world for players to collect. Farming gold and mats for raids is fun, but think of how impressed your raid leader will be whenthey hear you took a couple of days off to search for eggs that the Easter bunnies have placed around Azeroth. Collecting will not be easy though; the more valuable rewards can only be found in the higher level contested zones. Three different types of eggs can be found: 1. Magic eggs will transform you. 2. Rotten eggs. 3. Collectable eggs are sought by the collector NPCs found in the faction capitals and can be exchanged for various rewards. Note: Contrary to earlier reports, a PvP death will not result in the loss of any eggs collected. Rabbit Invasion Throughout the day Cottontail the Easter Spirit will appear in Elwynn Forest or Durotar, accompanying the egg dispersing rabbits. Players can collect these eggs, but should be wary of the Easter Spirit catching them doing it. As with all things in Azeroth, with Light comes Void, and Cottontail will require taming now and then, or to avoid local players getting debuffed.
