Disconnecting on Login

Put in my user name.

Put in my password.

Click login.

Goes through the ENTIRE quick login sequence, then disconnects instantly before I get to see my character select screen.

Every time.

Ok so go to your WTF file then config then paste this if you were recently on or chose the ptr

set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org

It says Im on PTR but my realmlist.wtf contains just what you typed:

set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org 

 

At Login before I type password I can see Test Server (PTR) In lower left corner of the screen.

After I have entered password and press enter It goes quickly through the authentication,´says "Success" for a brief moment, and then disconnects while prompting "Disconnected from server". It all happens very quickly.

Is there anyone you can post a screen shot ?? I did what you said but am still running into the same issue.

SO I got my shit to work i deleted my whole wow file and went back to my original download re-extracted put set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org as my wtf file and I am logged in right now.

Solution that worked for me and stopped setting the server as the test realm:

Go into the WTF folder, open the config file in notepad, and delete the text :

SET realmname "testserver"

Save and close, reload the game, and it will not assign the test realm.

In your WTF folder there is a config file, where you have to make sure that you remove the "SET realmName" part and restart your client, or just set it to SET realmName "Nighthaven".

Just put the file in your WoW folder, open it and press "4" to get these mentioned issues automatically fixed. It can also clean the realmname on each login if preferred.
