Miner's Fortune issue

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am aware this quest is working properly for other players (asked couple).

I was killing the quest mobs for something like 2 hours total on 2 consecutive days but never seen the emerald drop. Yes I am sure I was killing the right mobs (Venture Co Overseers and Venture Co Enforcers) at the right place (Boulder Lode Mine, both inside the mine and outside). I've got 10 Samophlange Manual pages drops (plus couple while grouped with another player who needed them so I didn't loot them), tons of cloth and food drops, few green items drop, but never seen the quest item drop. I don't understand what's going on and why doesn't it work specifically for me while working for other players. Someone got it from a 3rd mob kill, someone from 30th, but noone else killed 150+ of them without seeing a drop.

I've tried abandoning the quest and taking it again.

I've tried killing mobs both grouped (with FFA and group loot) and alone.

I've tried killing the mobs while being at different stages of the Samophlange chain.

I've tried dancing at the corpses of the dead goblins and ogres (j/k, didn't try that really).

As a perfectionist, I want this quest completed. What can I do to achieve that?

Character name: Netherspite

Best regards,

Netherspite

Resolved by a GM, pretty quickly.

However, I'm still worried about the quest being bugged. I know it works for the most of the players, but probably there is some case in which it bugs out. Devs could look into it.
