chrish999 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2018 Hello! I'm hoping that others have experienced these issues and have a solution!.... I use a Steelseries Arctis 7 and have tried with a Turtle Beach Stealth 520, both of which are Wireless USB Headset and with these i have no in game sound whatsoever, though i do still have full sound in every other application on the machine, including Discord/Teamspeak. I did Plug in a set of wired Bose headphones which provide sound perfectly with no issues over 4/5 hours of gaming and despite various setting changes, re-installations of both the client and various drivers i seem to be getting nowhere. This has led me to the conclusion that it is an 'old software, new hardware' compatibility issue, the frustration is such that i still actively play retail WoW as well as other games and a nearly all of my online time is spent on comms with others as i'm sure is the case for most and i would rather not have to invest in an Analogue headset purely just to play on Nighthaven with all you glorious people.... and despite being old... i'm pretty sure that i had a USB headset (wired) back when this client was retail with no issues!?!
