old account retrieval

Hi,

 

Before anyone points me to the ban appeals forum please read this out:

 

Before today, I last logged on in october 2017, playing the old Nost charactes after they were moved into Anathema (that does not exist now i assume). the TBC announcement has spoiled my interest, so I wanted to check out what's going here but:

 

1) My account seems to be temporarily suspended - I reset the password but it still does not allow me to logon

2) I've checked the ban appleas section but it requires me to have 2 factor enabled, while my account control panel does not have an option to do so - any assistance here how to enable 2fa, so I can write a ban appeal (not sure if the acocunt is actually banned or got suspended due to no use).

I suggest since it has been a bit of time now, to reset and wait about an hour before trying again, with your new/reset information.

The reason to wait an hour is because that's approximately how long the system locks you out on a bad username/password.

If this doesn't work, go ahead and post in the ban appeal forum, 2 factor isn't currently active on the project, so ignore that part of the ban appeal forum read-me.

If you are truly suspended and it's not just a login issue, it's probably because you account had suspicious logins on it at one time and it was locked down. The CM team cannot look into these things, the ban forum is basically creating a ticket to get someone on the GM team looking into it for you.
