No verification Email after account creation

Hi all,

 

I just registered a new account (actually i tried 2 different ones..) and i haven't received any verification Emails. I checked the spam folder as well.

1. Is there anything I could have done wrong?

2. How can I resend a verification email or "reuse" the same email/username if it works again later on?

I don't have any hard proof of this, but it seems some email services have an over active spam filter that removes our emails on their server side.

Can you try and create a gmail account and create an account using that email and see if it works?

I just tried again with a gmail.com account and that worked (even without going to spam). The other email server I tried unsuccessfully was using Horde (how fitting haha,maybe the Alliance fought my request off?) 5.2.13 software.
