Incastro 0 Report post Posted October 3, 2018 As a level 19 Troll Rogue I have tried to complete the rogue quest "Tools of the trade" in Undercity. Online it says the quest requires lvl 16 and it's green in my quest log. I have all the requirements for the quest. I'm supposed to talk to a woman there for the "Thieves tools". When I click the dialogue option regarding the tools, the dialogue window closes instantly with a "Goodbye". I have asked players for help and searched online, but found nothing. Might be bug, might be unclear instructions. I hope that someone can clarify if something else has to be done first or fix any bug involved. Zancon 117 Report post Posted October 3, 2018 I believe this is a quest that was added in one of the patches. I would close the game, then try going to your WoW folder and deleting the "WDB" folder inside it. This is the database - and it will re-download the proper database the next time you launch the game. Then try the quest again. Basically what happens on some item and quest bugs is that the game doesn't over-write your database folder when we launch a new patch server side. It's a side effect of doing all server side patches so that each user doesn't have to download every patch as we move through our progression. Good practice is to just go ahead and delete your WDB folder at every patch to ensure you have the most up to date database locally.
