Guild recruitment channel spam the chat with error messages

Hey there,
first of all thanks for this great server i love to play here ❤️
I have a problem with the guild recruitment channel: every time i go into a big city like thunder bluff i get permanently the message in chat that i am already in the guild recruitment channel. I have disabled all addons and deleted the WTF folder also i have disabled the guild channel in the chat options but nothing helps. When I went to  a city the chat will be spammed with these... =(

You dont want to be in the channel? To leave a channel the command "/leave channelname" will remove you from a channel. Alternatively, you can use the channel number such as "/leave 5" or whatever the channel number is that you wish to leave.

When I leave the channel  I sadly rejoin automatically with no keyboard input. This is very annoing ^^

Press escape -> Interface Options -> Advanced Options

 

Towards the bottom left there is "Auto-join Guild Recruitment Channel" and uncheck it
