Hellbat 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2019 Hello, I had a level 60 character on Elysium PvP by the time the server got shut down and most of the chars transferred to Lightbringer back in November 2017. I played around a month in Lightbringer before quitting due to university exams. So I already have a first question : do characters that were transferred over to Lightbringer still are in your Eylsium database ? Also to get to the core of my question / request. It appears that the account where I had my character on still exists : when I went to send an e-mail of password recovery using the name of the account, it worked. But, the e-mail in question isn't mine. It also appears that the account password has been changed to a new one. It also looks like my char got his name changed (Same name as my forum one), maybe additional changes have been made, I don't know. I have the evidence that I am the original creator of the said account, thanks to the verification email needed right after you create an account. Unfortunately, I don't have physical proof that I haven't sold my account of gave it to a friend, I only have my word I am particularly interested in retrieving my char due to the announcment of the BC server in June that would allow character transfer from old vanilla servers. Thus, I wonder if there is a possibility to get my account back based on the proof that I am the owner of the said account. If so, I can provide all the necessary informations to an administrator, aswell as searching in my old computer for further evidences to back up my claim. Thanks in advance, and have a nice day. Tadgh 2 Report post Posted January 19, 2019 Hi Hellbat, Unfortunately according to the Elysium Terms of Use, under the "Account Information" section, it states "The account owner is responsible for the security of the account and that it's sufficiently protected. Note that Elysium staff does not recover hacked accounts." Hopefully you are able to recover your account through Two-Factor Authentication if that was previously set up. If not, admins can not recover your hacked account precisely because it typically comes down to your word alone. You would have to create another Elysium account if you plan on using the Elysium TBC server coming out later this year. Sorry for the inconvenience. ~ Tadgh
